Bordeaux is a city brimming with treasures that will surprise you with both its architecture and its activities. Perfect for a fun-filled day of discovery! Come and admire the Miroir de l’eau, and introduce your children to a monumental building dating back nearly three centuries. And of course, the water jets here are sure to refresh and entertain the little ones: water fights and laughter guaranteed!
If you enjoy spacious neighbourhoods with beautiful architecture and dotted with plenty of green spaces, the Fondaudège neighbourhood and the Jardin Public are the ideal place for you and your family. This neighbourhood is lively, and at times even very festive, with all its shops. The Jardin Public, recognised as a ‘remarkable garden’, is in itself a treasure of Bordeaux’s heritage. It’s also the perfect spot for the whole family, as it offers the chance to visit the Botanical Gardens and the Natural History Museum.
And it’s on Rue de Fondaudège itself that you’ll find the collection point for your hire items, just a stone’s throw from the Palais Gallien. The pick-up point is Jabot’s. It’s a rather unique place – part eco-friendly grocery shop, part tea room. You’ll also find a play area for children: a slide, a little wooden playhouse and a toy kitchen to keep them entertained.
Jabot’s isn’t just a grocery shop, as you can also eat there whilst relaxing in the tea room-style area. All the pastries and dishes are homemade using the shop’s own French and local produce.
